Materials:
*Transparent acrylic box (size according to your choice)
* LED strip
*LED strip controller
* Power adapter for LED strip
*Hotmelt adhesive or double-sided tape
* Scissors or knife cutter
Instructions:
1. Prepare the box: Clean the acrylic box from any dust or dirt. Remove the protective film from both sides of the box.
2. Measure and cut the LED strip: Measure the inside perimeter of the box and cut the LED strip according to this length.
3. Install the LED strip: Apply a thin layer of hot melt adhesive or attach double-sided tape along the inside perimeter of the box. Press the LED strip onto glue or tape.
4. Connect the LED strip to the controller: Connect the LED strip to the controller connector. Make sure the polarity of the connection is correct (there are usually “+” and “-” marks on the LED strip).
5. Connect the controller to the power adapter: Connect the LED strip controller to the power adapter. Plug the adapter into the outlet.
6. Check the backlight: Turn on the LED strip using the controller. Adjust brightness and color to your liking.
Adviсe:
* Use the LED strip color that matches your car’s interior.
* Place the automatic transmission in a convenient place where it will not interfere with driving.
* Make sure the LED strip is firmly glued to the box to prevent it from peeling off while driving.
*If you use glue, let it dry completely before turning on the LED strip.
