Required tools and materials:

* New automatic transmission unit corresponding to the model and year of the car
* Set of keys and socket heads
* Pliers
* Jack and supports
* Transmission fluid
* Automatic transmission filter
* Automatic transmission crankcase gasket
* O-rings and gaskets
* Welding machine (if required)
* Tool for lifting a car (lift or pit)

Precautions:

* Make sure you have all the necessary tools and materials before starting work.
* Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery to cut off the power.
* Allow the engine and transmission to cool before starting work.

Installation steps:

1. Raise the car

Raise the car with a jack and support it with supports for safety.

2. Remove the variator

* Disconnect the battery.
* Drain the transmission fluid from the variator.
* Disconnect the drive shafts from the variator.
* Disconnect the electrical connectors and hoses from the variator.
* Unscrew the bolts securing the variator to the engine and transmission.
* Carefully remove the CVT from the vehicle.

3. Prepare a new automatic transmission unit

* Install a new automatic transmission filter and crankcase gasket.
* Apply sealant to the crankcase gasket and attach it to the automatic transmission unit.
* Install the O-rings and gaskets in their proper locations.

4. Install the automatic transmission unit

* Carefully lift the automatic transmission unit and install it in place of the variator.
* Tighten the mounting bolts to the specified torque.
* Connect the drive shafts to the automatic transmission.
* Connect electrical connectors and hoses.

5. Fill with transmission fluid

* Fill the automatic transmission with transmission fluid through the inspection hole.
* Tighten the check plug and start the engine.
* Check the fluid level and add it as needed.

6. Weld fasteners (if necessary)

In some cases, it may be necessary to weld new automatic transmission mounts. Consult a qualified mechanic to determine whether welding is necessary.

7. Lower the car and connect the battery

* Lower the vehicle and remove the stands.
* Connect the battery.

8. Check and adjustment

* Start the engine and change gears to check the operation of the automatic transmission.
* Check the transmission fluid level and add it if necessary.
* Run diagnostics on your computer to ensure there are no trouble codes.
