Required materials:
* New gearbox
*Hydraulic oil
* Transmission filter
* Pan gasket
* Sealant for gaskets
* Tools (key set, screwdrivers, lift)
Installation procedure:
1. Preparation
* Raise the car and secure it on stands.
* Drain the transmission fluid from the old gearbox.
* Disconnect all electrical connectors and vacuum lines from the old transmission.
* Disconnect the drive shaft from the old transmission.
2. Removing the old gearbox
* Unscrew the transmission pan mounting bolts.
* Remove the transmission pan and gasket.
* Unscrew the bolts securing the cross member supporting the gearbox.
* Move the cross member back.
* Unscrew the bolts or nuts securing the gearbox to the engine.
* Carefully remove the transmission from the engine.
3. Preparing a new gearbox
* Install a new transmission filter if necessary.
* Apply sealant to the new pan gasket.
* Make sure there are no obstructions on the transmission input and output shafts.
4. Installation of a new gearbox
* Install a new gearbox on the engine.
* Tighten the transmission mounting bolts or nuts.
* Reinstall the cross member and tighten the bolts.
* Install the transmission pan with a new gasket.
* Tighten the transmission pan mounting bolts.
5. Connection
* Connect the drive shaft to the new transmission.
* Connect all electrical connectors and vacuum lines to the new transmission.
6. Oil filling
* Fill the new transmission with hydraulic oil to the recommended level.
* Check the oil level after the engine reaches operating temperature.
7. Check
* Start the engine and check for leaks.
* Move the gear shift lever to different positions and check that the transmission shifts smoothly.
Additional tips:
* When unscrewing bolts and nuts, be careful not to damage the threads.
*Use a good quality gasket sealant to prevent oil leaks.
* Allow the hydraulic oil to cool and settle before operating the vehicle.
* Check the oil level and add if necessary.
* It is recommended to have the transmission checked by a qualified mechanic after installation.
