Tools and materials:

* Engine oil for automatic transmission (type and volume are indicated in the operating manual)
* Funnel for filling oil
*Clean rag or paper towels
* Drain pan (if old oil needs to be drained)

Procedure for filling oil in an automatic transmission Ford Fiesta:

1. Place the car on a level surface. Place the vehicle in Park (P) and set the parking brake.
2. Check the oil level. Before adding new oil, make sure that the oil level in the automatic transmission is correct. To do this, remove the oil dipstick located near the engine, wipe it with a clean cloth, insert it back into the tube and remove it again. The oil level should be between the “normal” (or “MIN” and “MAX”) marks.
3. Remove the filler plug. The filler plug is usually located on the top of the automatic transmission. Unscrew the plug using a socket wrench or ratchet.
4. Fill with new oil. Using a funnel, pour the amount of new oil specified in the operating manual into the automatic transmission. Fill the oil gradually and check the level using the dipstick.
5. Install the filler plug. Tighten the fill plug back by hand, and then tighten it using a socket wrench or ratchet.
6. Check the oil level. Remove the dipstick again, wipe it clean, and reinsert it into the tube. Check the oil level and add or drain oil if necessary.
7. Reset the automatic transmission oil change counter. Some Ford Fiesta models are equipped with an automatic transmission oil change counter. After changing the oil, you must reset the counter by following the procedure specified in the owner’s manual.

Adviсe:

*Only use oil recommended for your specific Ford Fiesta model.
* Do not overfill the automatic transmission with oil. Excess oil can cause gear shifting problems.
*Automatic transmission oil changes must be carried out in accordance with the intervals specified in the owner’s manual to ensure proper operation of the transmission.
