* Flat head screwdriver
* Wrench or hexagon

Procedure

1. Remove the gear shift knob

* Press the button or release the latch on the top of the handle.
* Pull the handle up to remove it.

2. Remove the selector frame

* There are screws or latches located around the base of the selector.
* Carefully pry and remove the frame.

3. Remove the selector cover

* The selector cover is usually secured with screws or clips.
* Carefully pry and remove the trim.

4. Disconnect the connector

* The electronic connector is located under the selector cover.
* Press the latch and disconnect the connector.

5. Unscrew the automatic transmission selector

* Usually the automatic transmission selector is secured with bolts or nuts.
*Use appropriate tools to unscrew and remove the selector.

6. Disassembling the selector

* You can now disassemble the selector into its individual components.
* This usually includes switches, springs and plastic parts.
* When disassembling, be careful not to lose small parts.

7. Selector assembly

* After troubleshooting or replacing components, reassemble the selector in reverse order.
* Make sure all components are installed correctly.

8. Selector installation

* Reinstall the selector and tighten the bolts or nuts.
* Connect the electronic connector.
* Install the selector cover.
* Install the selector frame.
* Install the gear shift knob.

Adviсe

* Disconnect the battery before starting work.
* Be careful when disconnecting electrical connectors.
* Do not overtighten bolts or nuts.
