Signs of a buzzing automatic transmission:

In neutral (P, N):

* Constant humming or buzzing noise regardless of engine speed.

When shifting gears (D, R):

* The humming noise gets louder when shifting into any gear.

When driving:

* The hum gets louder as the speed increases.

* Humming may be accompanied by vibration.

Additional signs:

* Increased automatic transmission fluid level or leakage.

* Difficulty shifting gears.
* Increased fuel consumption.

Possible causes of humming:

*Lack of transmission fluid
