Gear shift lever

*P (Park): Locks the transmission and wheels for parking.
* R (Reverse): Move backwards.
* N (Neutral): The engine is running but the transmission is not engaged.
* D (Drive): Automatic gear shifting when moving forward.
* S (Sport): More aggressive shifting for improved acceleration (select models only).
* M (Manual): Allows manual gear shifting using the steering wheel paddles or shift lever (if equipped).

Usage

Starting the engine

1. Press the brake pedal.
2. Move the gear lever to position P or N.
3. Turn on the ignition.
4. Start the engine.

Moving Forward

1. Move the gear lever to position D.
2. Take your foot off the brake pedal.
3. Press the gas pedal to start driving.
4. The automatic will automatically change gears as you accelerate.

Reverse

1. Press the brake pedal.
2. Move the gear lever to position R.
3. Take your foot off the brake pedal.
4. Press the gas pedal to start moving backwards.

Shifting to Neutral

1. Press the brake pedal.
2. Move the gear shift lever to position N.
3. The car will remain in place.

Parking

1. Press the brake pedal.
2. Move the gear lever to position P.
3. Turn off the engine.

Important Tips

* Always press the brake pedal when changing gears.
* Do not shift to neutral when driving at high speed.
* Do not engage reverse when driving forward.
* If the shift lever is stuck, press the shift lever reset button located near the shift lever.
* Maintain the transmission regularly, following the manufacturer’s recommendations.
