Parking mode (P)

*Used for car parking.
* Engages a special lock to prevent vehicle movement.

Reverse mode (R)

*Used to move the vehicle backwards.
* Requires vehicle to come to a complete stop before turning on.

Neutral (N)

* Used when towing a car or for short stops without turning off the engine.
* The gearbox does not transmit power to the wheels.

Drive (D)

* Used to move the vehicle forward.
* The transmission automatically changes gears depending on speed and load.

Sport mode (S)

* Used to improve the dynamic characteristics of the car.
* The transmission holds gears at higher rpm to provide faster acceleration.

Manual shift mode (M)

* Allows the driver to manually change gears.
* To change gears, you must use the paddle shifters or the gear lever.

Additional modes (if any)

* Winter Mode (W or Snow): Optimizes gear shifting for slippery conditions, preventing wheel spin.
* Low Gear Mode (L): Provides maximum torque for climbing steep grades or towing.
* Fuel Economy Mode (ECO): Adjusts transmission operation to optimize fuel consumption.

How to select a gear:

1. Set the gear shift lever to the desired position.
2. For Parking Mode (P): Depress the brake pedal and apply the parking brake.
3. For reverse mode (R): Stop the vehicle completely.
4. For Neutral (N): Do not press the brake pedal.
5. For Drive Mode (D): Press the gas pedal to move forward.
6. For Sport (S) mode: Move the lever to the “S” position.
7. For Manual Shift Mode (M): Move the shift lever to the “M” position and use the steering wheel paddle shifters or shift lever to shift gears manually.
8. For additional modes (if available): Follow the instructions in your vehicle’s owner’s manual.
