Tools:

* Multimeter
* 12V supply cable
* Wiring diagram for automatic transmission 4F27e

Procedure:

1. Disconnect the battery:

* Disconnect the negative battery terminal to de-energize the system.

2. Find solenoids:

* 4F27e automatic transmission solenoids are usually located on the valve body.
*Locate them on the wiring diagram to determine the terminal number for each solenoid.

3. Check resistance:

* Set the multimeter to resistance (Ohms) measurement mode.
* Connect one multimeter probe to the solenoid connector and the other probe to ground.
*Normal solenoid resistance is usually between 5 and 20 ohms. Values vary depending on the solenoid.

4. Check operation:

*Connect the positive terminal of the 12V supply cable to the solenoid connector.
* Connect the negative terminal of the cable to ground.
* The solenoid should click and operate.

5. Check the continuity of the circuit:

* Remove the connector from the solenoid.
* Set the multimeter to voltage measurement mode (Volts).
* Connect one multimeter probe to the solenoid connector and the other probe to the battery positive terminal.
* When the ignition is turned on, the multimeter should show a supply voltage of about 12 V.
* If there is no voltage, this indicates an open circuit in the power supply.

Interpretation of results:

*Low resistance (less than 5 ohms): Solenoid is shorted. The solenoid needs to be replaced.
*High resistance (more than 20 ohms): The solenoid is open or open. The solenoid needs to be replaced.
* Normal resistance: The solenoid is normal.
* Failure to operate when 12 V is applied: The solenoid is faulty. The solenoid needs to be replaced.
* Lack of supply voltage: Open circuit in the power supply. It is necessary to repair the break and check the functionality of the solenoid.

Note:

*Always refer to the wiring diagram to ensure proper connections to the solenoids.
* Be careful when working with electrical equipment.
*If you are unsure about the diagnostics, please consult a qualified mechanic.
