??:
1. Warm up the engine and shift the transmission to park. This will help thin the transmission fluid and make it easier to drain.
2. Raise the car using a jack and place it on supports. Make sure the vehicle is securely secured.
3. Find the automatic transmission pan. It is usually located at the bottom of the transmission and is held in place by bolts.
4. Remove the automatic transmission pan. Loosen the bolts holding the pan in place and carefully remove it. Be prepared for a small amount of transmission fluid to leak.
5. Replace the automatic transmission filter. The location of the filter may vary depending on the vehicle model. Find the old filter and replace it with a new one. Be sure to use a new filter gasket.
6. Place the automatic transmission pan back into place. Clean the mating surfaces between the pan and the transmission, then install the pan in place and tighten the bolts in order and to the appropriate torque.
7. Fill with new transmission fluid. Using a funnel, pour new transmission fluid into the transmission. Fill in the required amount of fluid specified in your vehicle’s owner’s manual.
8. Start the engine and check the fluid level. Start the engine and let it idle. Check the fluid level using the dipstick and add fluid if necessary.
Adviсe:
