* New ATF oil (approximately 4 liters for a complete change)
* Transmission pan gasket
*Speed sensor O-ring

* Container for draining used oil
* Funnel

The procedure for changing the oil in a Renault Duster automatic transmission:
1. Preparation:
* Place the car on a flat surface.
* Start the engine and warm it up to operating temperature.
* Stop the engine and set the parking brake.
2. Draining old oil:
* Remove the engine crankcase protection.
* Clean the area around the transmission drain plug.
* Place a container for drainage under the tray.
* Unscrew the drain plug and drain the oil.
* Allow the oil to drain completely.
3. Replacing the pan gasket:
* Clean the transmission pan and the adjacent surface of the engine crankcase from the old gasket.
* Apply a fresh gasket to the pan and install it in place.
* Tighten the pan bolts in a circle, observing the tightening torque in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations.
4. Removing the speed sensor:
* Disconnect the speed sensor connector.
* Unscrew the speed sensor and remove it.
* Replace the O-ring with a new one.
5. Installation of the speed sensor:
* Apply a small amount of sealant to the O-ring.
* Install the speed sensor into the transmission housing.
* Tighten the speed sensor mounting bolt.
* Connect the speed sensor connector.
6. Filling with new oil:
* Pour new ATF into the gearbox using a funnel.
* The total volume of oil poured is about 4 liters.
* Check the oil level using the oil level plug. The oil level should be between the MIN and MAX marks on the control plug.
7. Resetting gearbox adaptations:
* Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery for 10 minutes.
* Reconnect the battery terminal.
* Start the engine and let it idle for 1 minute.
* Shift the gear selector to all positions and hold each position for a few seconds.
*Repeat steps 7 and 8 again.
8. Checking the oil level:
* 100-200 km after changing the oil, check the oil level in the gearbox.
* If necessary, add oil to the level between the MIN and MAX marks on the control plug.
Important Tips:
* Use only the brand and type of ATF oil recommended by the manufacturer.
*Change the transmission oil and filter regularly according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
* To avoid leaks, tighten all bolts and plugs correctly.
* Dispose of used oil and empty new oil containers in accordance with local environmental regulations.
