Normal automatic transmission operation
Gear shift:
* Smooth and imperceptible gear shifting.
* Switching occurs in the correct sequence: P-R-N-D-OD.
* No slippage or noise during shifts.
Overclocking:
* The car accelerates smoothly and without jerking.
* Gear shifts in a timely manner for optimal efficiency.
* No slipping or delay when changing gears.
Braking:
* The car brakes smoothly and stably.
* Gears shift down to help slow the car.
* No vibration or shock when braking.
Coasting:
* The car moves smoothly, without speed jumps or jerks.
* Gears remain in highest when driving at a constant speed.
Other normal operating conditions:
* Automatic transmission fluid is pink or red in color and does not have a burning smell.
* The automatic transmission fluid level is normal.
* No automatic transmission fluid leaks.
* Correct operation of automatic transmission sensors and solenoids.
Important signs:
If you notice any of the following signs, this may indicate a problem with the automatic transmission:

* Slipping or jerking during shifts.
* Problems with acceleration or braking.
* Unusual noises (buzzing, humming or knocking) when the automatic transmission is operating.
* Automatic transmission fluid leaking.
