Normal automatic transmission operation

Gear shift:

* No slippage or noise during shifts.

Overclocking:

* The car accelerates smoothly and without jerking.
* Gear shifts in a timely manner for optimal efficiency.
* No slipping or delay when changing gears.

Braking:

* The car brakes smoothly and stably.
* Gears shift down to help slow the car.
* No vibration or shock when braking.

Coasting:

* The car moves smoothly, without speed jumps or jerks.
* Gears remain in highest when driving at a constant speed.

Other normal operating conditions:

* Automatic transmission fluid is pink or red in color and does not have a burning smell.
* The automatic transmission fluid level is normal.
* No automatic transmission fluid leaks.
* Correct operation of automatic transmission sensors and solenoids.

Important signs:

If you notice any of the following signs, this may indicate a problem with the automatic transmission:

*Hard or delayed gear changes.
* Slipping or jerking during shifts.
* Problems with acceleration or braking.
* Unusual noises (buzzing, humming or knocking) when the automatic transmission is operating.
* Automatic transmission fluid leaking.
* Unusual color or smell of automatic transmission fluid.
