The tightening torque of the automatic transmission pan bolts depends on the make and model of the car. It is usually listed in the operation or maintenance manual. In general, for most vehicles the required torque is:

* For bolts with diameter M8: 20-25 Nm
* For bolts with diameter M10: 30-35 Nm
* For bolts with diameter M12: 40-45 Nm

It is very important to follow the specified torque as over-tightening the bolts can damage the pan or transmission housing.
