Input Shaft Speed Sensor (or Input Sensor)
* Location: Transmission, near the automatic transmission bell
* Function: Monitors the rotation speed of the automatic transmission input shaft.
Output shaft speed sensor (or output sensor)
* Location: Transmission, near the automatic transmission shank
* Function: Monitors the rotation speed of the automatic transmission secondary shaft.
Turbine speed sensor
* Location: Transmission block (not on all models)
* Function: Monitors the rotation speed of the automatic transmission torque converter.
