Function:

*ECM: Controls the TCM and receives signals from sensors and switches.

* Sensors: Provide the TCM with information about rotation speed, shifter position and gear selection.
* Solenoid valves: Direct hydraulic pressure to activate clutches and brake bands.
* Solenoids: Control hydraulic pressure and flow to change gears.
