Tools and materials:

* Set of socket wrenches
* Hammer
* Punch
* Drive oil seal O-ring
* New transmission lube

Procedure:

1. Set the vehicle to the parking brake and jack it up. Place supports under the vehicle for safety.

2. Remove the wheel from the side of the faulty oil seal.

3. Disconnect the tie rods from the steering knuckles.

4. Disconnect the shock absorber strut from the steering knuckle.

5. Move the steering knuckle to the side to make room for removing the drive.

6. Disconnect the outer drive shaft joint from the wheel hub.

7. Unscrew the bolts securing the inner drive shaft joint to the automatic transmission.

8. Carefully disconnect the drive shaft from the automatic transmission.

9. Using a drift, remove the oil seal from the automatic transmission housing. Be careful not to damage the automatic transmission housing.

10. Install a new oil seal into the automatic transmission housing. Use a scraper or small flat head screwdriver to evenly install the seal.

11. Apply transmission lube to the drive shaft.

12. Reinstall the drive shaft, connecting it to the automatic transmission and the wheel hub.

13. Tighten the mounting bolts.

14. Connect the shock absorber strut and tie rods.

15. Reinstall the wheel.

16. Lower the vehicle and make sure there are no transmission fluid leaks.
