1. Preparation

2. Draining transmission fluid
* Find the drain plug at the bottom of the automatic transmission pan and unscrew it using a wrench.
* Squeeze the drain plug and drain the liquid into the prepared container.
* Clean the drain plug and apply a new washer.
3. Removing the automatic transmission pan
* Unscrew the bolts connecting the automatic transmission pan to the gearbox housing.
* Carefully remove the pan from the transmission and drain the remaining fluid.

*Remove and discard the old automatic transmission filter.
* Install a new filter.
* Apply sealant to the automatic transmission pan gasket.

* Reinstall the automatic transmission pan and tighten the bolts in the specified tightening order.
6. Filling with transmission fluid
* Fill the automatic transmission with transmission fluid through the filler hole (usually located on the side of the transmission).
* Fill in the required amount of fluid as indicated in the instruction manual.
7. Checking the fluid level
* Start the engine and let it idle for a few minutes.
* Switch the automatic transmission selector to different positions and return it to the ‘Parking’ position.
* Check the fluid level using the automatic transmission dipstick and add if necessary.
8. Resetting the automatic transmission service counter
* Connect a diagnostic scanner and reset the automatic transmission service counter.
