Prerequisites:

* Kit for flashing automatic transmission ECU (cable, software and firmware file)
*Laptop or computer
*Working battery

Procedure:

1. Connect the flash kit to the automatic transmission ECU and laptop. Typically, the location of the connectors and wiring diagram are provided by the kit manufacturer.

2. Run the flashing software on your laptop.

3. Select the correct firmware file. Make sure the file matches your automatic transmission model and your requirements (for example, bug fixes or performance improvements).

4. Establish communication with the automatic transmission ECU. The software should automatically detect and connect to the ECU.

5. Read the current firmware (optional). This will allow you to keep a backup in case problems arise.

6. Upload the new firmware file to the ECU. The software will guide you through the firmware transfer process.

7. Check that the firmware is written correctly. The software should display confirmation of successful firmware.

8. Disconnect the flash kit from the ECU and laptop.

9. Start the engine and check the operation of the automatic transmission.

10. Take it for a test drive.

Warnings:

* Be careful when choosing the firmware file. Installing the wrong firmware can cause serious problems.
* Do not disconnect the battery while flashing as this may damage the ECU.
*If you do not have enough experience or equipment, please contact a professional mechanic to perform the flashing.
*Always back up your existing firmware in case you need to restore.
