Routine maintenance of Ford automatic transmission

Every 30,000 km or 2 years:

* Checking the level and condition of the transmission fluid
* Replacing the transmission fluid filter (on some models)

Every 60,000 km or 4 years:

* Replacing transmission fluid
* Replacing the transmission fluid filter

Every 100,000 km or 8 years:

* Complete automatic transmission diagnostics, including checking solenoids, sensors and other electronic components
* If necessary, replace solenoids, sensors or other parts

Every 150,000 km or 12 years:

* Overhaul of automatic transmission (as necessary)

In addition to routine maintenance, you should also pay attention to the following points:

Signs of automatic transmission malfunction:

*Transmission fluid leak
* The automatic transmission fault indicator lights up on the dashboard

If you notice any of these signs, take it to a mechanic immediately for diagnosis and repair. Timely maintenance and repair will help extend the life of the automatic transmission and guarantee its uninterrupted operation.
