Firmware steps:

1. Preparation

* Install the firmware software on your computer.
* Connect the USB-OBD2 cable to the laptop and the vehicle’s diagnostic socket.

2. Read current firmware

* Run the firmware software and connect to the electronic transmission control unit (TCU).
* Read the current automatic transmission firmware from the TCU.
* Save the downloaded firmware file in a safe place.

3. Obtaining original firmware

* Download the original automatic transmission firmware file for your specific vehicle.
*Check that the file matches your chassis number (VIN).

4. Automatic transmission firmware

*Upload the original firmware file into the firmware software.
* Connect to TCU and start the flashing process.
*Follow the instructions on the screen.

5. Completion

*Wait for the firmware process to complete.
* Disconnect the USB-OBD2 cable and restart the engine.

Adviсe:

* Make sure the automatic transmission is in park (P) while flashing.
* Do not turn off the ignition or disconnect the battery while flashing.
*If you have problems with the firmware, please contact a qualified mechanic.
* It is recommended to back up your current firmware before replacing it.
* After flashing, you may need to reset the automatic transmission’s adaptation values ​​so that it can adapt to the new firmware. This can be done using a diagnostic scanner or manually according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
