Stages of automatic transmission firmware for Kyron diesel with 5 steps:
Preparation:
*Gather the necessary tools: OBD2 diagnostic scanner, USB/OBD2 cable, laptop.
* Make sure the vehicle battery is fully charged.
Downloading and installing software:
* Download suitable firmware software from the manufacturer’s official website.
* Install the software on your laptop.
Connection to vehicle:
* Connect the diagnostic scanner to the OBD2 port of the vehicle.
* Connect the USB/OBD2 cable to the scanner and laptop.
*Run the software on your laptop.
* Select the make, model and year of your vehicle.
Reading current firmware:
* Click the Diagnostics tab.
* Select transmission module.
* Click the Read Memory icon.
* Save the current firmware to your laptop in a safe place.
Downloading new firmware:
* Click the Programming tab.
* Select the new firmware file.
* Click the “Write to block” button.
Automatic transmission programming:
* A progress bar will be displayed. Wait for the programming process to complete.
* Do not turn off the ignition or disconnect the scanner during programming.
After programming:
* After programming is completed, turn off the scanner and test drive it to check the automatic transmission is operating correctly.
*If any problems occur, contact a qualified mechanic.
