Adaptive automatic transmission in ETS 2
The Adaptive Automatic Transmission (ATT) in Euro Truck Simulator 2 (ETS 2) is a virtual transmission system that automatically adapts to the user’s driving style.
Main features:
* Enhanced Realism: The Adaptive Automatic Transmission mimics the behavior of a real truck driver, delivering smoother shifts and improved performance.
* Customizable parameters: Users can customize various automatic transmission parameters such as shift aggressiveness, shift timing and operating modes.
* Three modes: The automatic transmission has three operating modes:
* Economical: Optimizes gear changes to save fuel.
* Normal: Balances fuel economy and performance.
*Sporty: Provides faster and more aggressive shifts for maximum performance.
Advantages of using adaptive automatic transmission:
* Reduced fatigue: Automatic gear shifting reduces the driver’s workload, especially over long distances.
* Improved Efficiency: Optimized shifts improve fuel economy and truck performance.
* More realistic driving: Adaptive automatic transmission makes driving a virtual truck more realistic and exciting.
To turn on the adaptive automatic transmission:
1. Go to the game settings.
2. Select the Gameplay tab.
3. Find the “Transmission” section and set the “Transmission” parameter to “Adaptive Automatic Transmission”.
Note: Adaptive automatic transmission is only available in ETS 2 version 1.40 and higher.
