Materials:

* Washing machine
* Grounded socket (type F or Schuko)
* Electrical cable with ground (usually 3-wire)
* Wrench or adjustable wrench
* Screwdriver (for tightening terminal screws)

Instructions:

1. Make sure the washing machine and power supply are turned off.
2. Connect the electrical cable to the outlet.
3. On the back of the washing machine, locate the terminal block for connecting the cable.
4. The cable will have three ends: brown (phase), blue (neutral) and yellow-green (ground).
5. Connect the brown wire to the L (or “Phase”) terminal.
6. Connect the blue wire to the N (or “Neutral”) terminal.
7. Connect the green/yellow wire to the ground terminal (usually identified by the ground symbol or the letter “E”).
8. Tighten the screws on the terminals using a screwdriver.
9. Connect the washing machine’s ground wire to the ground at the outlet or switchboard.
10. Turn on the washing machine and check if it works correctly.

*If you are unsure of your capabilities, consult a qualified electrician.
* Never use damaged cables or sockets.
* Make sure the outlet is grounded to protect your washing machine from electric shock.
