Job description of an electrician for machines on the road

1. General provisions

1.1. This job description has been developed on the basis of the Qualification Directory of Worker Professions, approved by Decree of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation of November 15, 1999 N 61.
1.2. An electrician for field vehicles is appointed to the position and dismissed by order of the director of the enterprise upon the recommendation of the workshop manager.
1.3. The field vehicle electrician reports to the workshop manager/foreman.
14. An electrician for field vehicles must know:
– rules for technical operation of consumer electrical installations;
– labor protection and safety rules during the operation of electrical installations;
– rules for using and testing protective equipment used in electrical installations;
– methods of repair, installation and adjustment of electrical equipment of automobiles;
– structure and principle of operation of electrical, electronic and electromechanical systems of automobiles;
– principles of operation and technical characteristics of batteries, generators and car starters;
– methods for diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical equipment of cars;
– procedure for admission to independent work in electrical installations;
– the procedure for issuing permits for work on electrical installations.

2. Job responsibilities

A field vehicle electrician performs the following job responsibilities:
2.1. Travels to the parking lot to carry out electrical equipment repairs.
2.2. Determines a list of vehicle electrical equipment malfunctions and develops a repair plan.
2.3. Conducts scheduled preventative and repair work on servicing electrical equipment of automobiles.
2.4. Conducts diagnostics and repairs of electronic vehicle systems, including the use of diagnostic stands.
2.5. Carries out installation, dismantling and replacement of electrical equipment of cars.
2.6. Ensures compliance with labor protection and safety requirements during work.
2.7. Complies with established labor and production discipline, internal labor regulations, norms and requirements for labor protection and fire safety.
2.8. Maintains tools, equipment, fixtures and clothing in good condition.

3. Rights

An electrician for on-site vehicles has the right to:
3.1. Demand that the management of the enterprise and other employees provide assistance in the performance of their official duties.
3.2. Make suggestions for improving your work.
3.3. Undergo training and advanced training in accordance with the requirements of legislation and the enterprise.

4. Responsibility

An electrician for field vehicles is responsible for:
4.1. For improper performance or failure to fulfill one’s job duties as provided for in this job description, within the limits established by the current labor legislation of the Russian Federation.
4.2. For failure to comply with internal labor regulations, labor protection and safety regulations at work.
4.3. For causing material damage to the employer within the limits established by the current labor and civil legislation of the Russian Federation.
