Materials:

* Washing machine
* Three-prong socket, grounded
* Power cable with three cores (phase, neutral and ground)

Safety:

* Turn off power to the distribution board before starting any work.
* Always wear insulating gloves when working with electrical wiring.

Instructions:

1. Prepare the outlet:
* Make sure the outlet matches the washing machine specification (usually 220-240 volts, 50/60 Hz).
* Detach the outlet faceplate and remove it from the wall.

2. Prepare the power cable:
*Cut the power cord long enough to connect the washing machine to the outlet.
* Remove the outer sheath from the cable approximately 10 cm from both ends.
* Separate the cable cores by color: brown or black (phase), blue or white (zero) and yellow-green (ground).

3. Connect the wires to the socket:
* Connect the phase conductor to the “L” terminal on the socket.
* Connect the neutral wire to the “N” terminal on the socket.
* Connect the ground wire to the ground terminal on the outlet.

4. Install the socket front panel:
* Insert the power wires into the socket terminals and tighten the screws.
* Place the outlet faceplate back on the wall and secure it.

5. Connect the washing machine:
* Connect the ground wire from the washing machine body to the ground terminal on the power cable.
* Plug the washing machine into a power outlet.

6. Turn on the power:
* Turn on the power at the distribution board.
* Check if the washing machine turns on and works properly.

*Check the outlet and power cords regularly for signs of wear or damage.
* Never use a washing machine with a damaged power cord or socket.
* Do not overload the outlet by connecting multiple devices to it.
