Functional responsibilities:
* Diagnostics and troubleshooting of electrical systems of automobiles
* Identifying and repairing faults in engine management, transmission, brake and steering systems
*Use electronic diagnostic equipment and software to analyze and troubleshoot problems
* Installation and configuration of automotive electrical components and systems
* Collecting data and providing reports on the technical condition of vehicles
* Perform preventative maintenance and repairs to prevent future problems
* Ensuring a high level of customer service and meeting their needs
* Participation in technical trainings and seminars to maintain current knowledge and skills
Education and experience:
* Trade School Certificate or Associate’s Degree in Automotive Electrical Engineering
* At least 3 years of experience in diagnosing and repairing electrical systems of automobiles
* Excellent understanding of automotive electronics and control systems
* Experience using electronic diagnostic equipment and software
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Skills and abilities:
* Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
* Knowledge of electrical engineering, wiring diagrams and diagnostic procedures
