Possible reasons why the electrics work, but the car does not start:

1. Problems with the fuel system:

* Fuel filter clogged
* Faulty fuel pump
* Fuel injectors clogged

2. Problems with the ignition system:

* Faulty spark plugs or ignition coils
* Broken ignition distributor
* Faulty engine control module (ECU)

3. Battery problems:

*Dead or faulty battery
* Poor battery terminal connection
* Faulty generator

4. Problems with the starter:

* Faulty starter
*Broken starter solenoid
* Worn starter contacts

5. Wiring problems:

* Damaged wiring connecting electrical components
*Short circuit
* Faulty relays or fuses

6. Problems with the ignition switch:

* Faulty ignition switch
*Blown fuse associated with ignition switch

Diagnosis and troubleshooting:

1. Check the battery: Measure the battery voltage with a multimeter. It should be around 12.6 volts with the engine off. Try jump starting the car if the voltage is too low.
2. Check the fuel system: Disconnect the fuel hose from the fuel rail and check if fuel comes out when the ignition is turned on. If there is no fuel, check the fuel pump and fuel filter.
3. Check the ignition system: Remove the spark plugs and inspect them for wear or damage. Check to see if there is spark at the spark plugs using a spark tester.
4. Check Starter: Verify that the starter is receiving power and that the starter solenoid is energized. Try hitting the starter with a hammer to loosen jammed components.
5. Check Wiring: Inspect the wiring under the hood for damage, cracks, or melting. Check that the connectors and terminals are securely connected.
6. Check the ignition switch: Try starting the car with a spare key. If this does not help, check the fuses associated with the ignition switch and the switch itself.
