Drain Plug: Located at the bottom of the transmission housing
Fill Plug: Located on the side of the transmission

Additional notes:

* The transmission also has a fluid level sensor that warns when the fluid level is low.
*On some 2004 Elantra models, the transmission may be equipped with a manual shift control system that allows the driver to manually shift gears.
* Failure to promptly replace the transmission fluid may result in damage to the transmission.
