Required materials:

* New transmission pan gasket
* Gear oil (about 4 liters)
* 10 mm wrench
* 14mm wrench
* 8 mm hex key
* Funnel
* Oil drain container

Procedure:

1. Preparation

* Place the vehicle on a level surface and apply the parking brake.
* Let the engine warm up for a few minutes to allow the oil to thin out.

2. Drain the oil

* Locate the transmission pan under the vehicle.
* Place a container to drain the oil under the oil pan drain plug.
*Using an 8mm hex wrench, loosen the drain plug.
* Carefully unscrew the drain plug by hand and wait until the oil drains completely.
* Clean the drain plug and apply a new gasket to it.

3. Replacing the gasket

* Clean the seating surface of the pan from the old gasket.
* Install a new gasket on the pan.

4. Installation of the pallet

* Lift the tray and place it in place.
*Tighten the pan bolts using a 10mm wrench.

5. Filling with oil

*Locate the filler plug on the side of the transmission.
* Using a funnel, pour new transmission oil into the filler plug.
* Fill the oil until it begins to flow out of the filler plug.

6. Checking the oil level

* Tighten the filler plug with a 14mm wrench.
* Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.
* Check the oil level using the transmission dipstick. The oil level should be between the “MIN” and “MAX” marks.

7. Resetting the oil change counter

*If your vehicle is equipped with a transmission oil change counter, it must be reset after changing the oil. Refer to your vehicle’s owner’s manual for instructions on how to reset the meter.

Additional tips:

* Use the correct gear oil for your vehicle.
* Check the gearbox oil level regularly and replenish it if necessary.
*If you are unsure, consult a qualified mechanic.
