Tools and materials:
* Wrench set
* Driver with extension
* Head set
* Screwdriver set
* Mounting blades
* Transmission sealant
* New transmission oil and filter
Instructions:
1. Preparation:
* Remove the terminal from the negative terminal of the battery.
* Raise the car and secure it on stands.
* Drain the transmission oil by unscrewing the oil pan.
2. Dismantling:
* Unscrew the bolts securing the starter and remove it.
* Disconnect the wires from the transmission solenoids and sensors.
* Remove the bolts securing the torque converter to the engine flywheel.
* Carefully remove the torque converter from the transmission.
* Remove the bolts securing the gearbox to the engine.
* Carefully remove the transmission from the engine.
3. Disassembly:
* Place the gearbox on the workbench.
* Remove the oil pan.
* Remove the oil filter.
* Inspect internal components for signs of wear and damage.
* Carefully remove the gear selector.
* Remove solenoids and sensors.
* Remove the oil pump.
4. Cleaning and inspection:
*Clean all components thoroughly using solvent.
* Make sure there are no metal shavings, debris or other foreign materials.
* Check gears, bearings, gaskets and seals for signs of wear and damage.
5. Assembly:
* Install new gaskets and seals if necessary.
* Install the oil pump.
* Install solenoids and sensors.
* Install the gear selector.
* Install the torque converter.
* Bolt the gearbox to the engine.
* Install the starter.
6. Completion:
* Connect the wires to the solenoids and sensors.
* Pour new transmission oil into the gearbox.
* Install the oil pan.
* Connect the terminal to the negative terminal of the battery.
* Start the engine and check the operation of the gearbox.
