Materials:

* Phillips screwdriver
* Flat blade screwdriver

Instructions:

1. Pull out the handle:

* Pull the gear shift handle to the park position.

2. Remove the handle cap:

*Locate the small button under the handle cap and press it.
* Pull the cap up and remove it.

3. Unscrew the screws:

*There will be one or two Phillips screws under the cap.
* Remove the screws and set them aside.

4. Remove the leather wrap cover (if equipped):

*If your shift knob is wrapped in leather, carefully slide it out of the groove in the knob.

5. Remove plastic parts:

*There will be some plastic parts under the leather wrapping cover.
*Use a flat-blade screwdriver to carefully pry and remove these parts.

6. Disconnect the wire connector (if equipped):

*If your shift knob has a button or other control, disconnect the wire connector.
* Press the connector latch and gently pull it up to disconnect.

7. Remove the handle:

* Pull the handle up and remove it from the gear shift shaft.

8. Assembly:

* Reassemble in reverse order.
* Place the handle on the shift shaft and press down to lock it.
* Connect the wire connector if there is one.
* Reinstall the plastic parts onto the handle, clicking them into place.
*Put on the leather wrap cover if you have one.
*Insert the screws and tighten them.
*Place the handle cap on and snap it into place.

Adviсe:

* Use a soft cloth or rag to protect the handle and parts from scratches.
* Be careful when removing plastic parts as they may break.
*If you have difficulty disassembling the handle, consult a qualified mechanic or dealer.
