Method 1: Using an OBD2 scanner
1. Purchase an OBD2 diagnostic scanner.
2. Connect the scanner to the car’s OBD2 port, which is usually located under the dashboard.
3. Turn on the scanner and select Chevrolet Cruze.
4. Go to the “Modules” or “Settings” menu.
5. Find the Auto Neutral or Drive Modes option.
6. Change the value to Disabled.
7. Save the changes and reboot the car.
Method 2: Using Setup Software
1. Install ECU tuning software such as HP Tuners or EFI Live on your computer.
2. Connect your computer to your car using an OBD2 cable.
3. Launch the software and select Chevrolet Cruze.
4. Go to the “Transmission Settings” menu.
5. Find the Auto Neutral or Drive Modes option.
6. Change the value to Disabled.
7. Download the changes to the vehicle’s ECU.
