Oil Flow Path
* Oil from the pump flows to the torque converter.
* From the torque converter, oil is directed to the valve plate.
* The valve plate directs oil to the appropriate passages to engage the gears.
* Oil passes through the brake bands and friction packs to propel the vehicle.
* Used oil is drained back into the pan.
Component functions
* Torque Converter: Converts torque from the engine and ensures smooth gear shifting.
* Valve block: Controls the flow of oil into the automatic transmission and engages gears.
*Oil Pump: Provides oil circulation and pressure.
* Brake Bands: Holds planetary gears in place.
* Friction packs: Transfer torque from the engine to the transmission.
