1. Visual inspection:

* If necessary, repair or replace the torque converter.

7. Checking electrical circuits:

* Check all transmission-related electrical circuits for opens, shorts, or resistance problems.
* Replace faulty components.

8. Transmission overhaul:

* If other diagnostic methods are unsuccessful, a transmission rebuild may be required.
* This is a complex and time-consuming process that requires special tools and knowledge.
