P (Park): Used to hold the vehicle in place when parking. Blocks the transmission output shaft.

R (Reverse): Used to move the vehicle backwards.

N (Neutral): The transmission is not engaged with either the input or output shaft.

D (Drive): Normal driving mode that automatically changes gears depending on load and speed.

2 (Second Gear): Limits gear selection to first and second gear. Most often used for driving at low speeds or climbing steep slopes.

L (First Gear): Limits gear selection to first gear. Typically used for off-road driving or going down steep slopes.

S (Sport Mode): Holds gears at higher engine speeds for quicker throttle response.

+ (Upshift): Allows you to manually shift up a gear (when driving forward) or one gear back (when driving in reverse).

– (Downshift): Allows you to manually shift down a gear (when driving forward) or one gear forward (when driving in reverse).

*ECT: Electronic Transmission Control mode that optimizes gear shifting for better fuel economy and performance.
* SNOW: A mode for driving on snow that reduces wheel slip when starting.
* PWR: Mode to increase engine power.
* ECO: Mode for the highest possible fuel efficiency.
