* T5 74 – incandescent light bulb with T5 base and 7 W power
* T5 5W – halogen lamp with T5 base and 5 W power

Replacing light bulbs:

2. Remove the decorative panel around the automatic transmission selector; it is usually secured with plastic latches.
3. Disconnect the electrical wiring connector from the backlight lamp.
4. Remove the old lamp by pressing it and turning it counterclockwise.
5. Install the new lamp by turning it clockwise until it clicks.
6. Connect the electrical wiring connector to the new lamp.
7. Reinstall the decorative panel.
Note:
*Before replacing lamps, be sure to disconnect the battery to avoid short-circuiting.
* Use only bulbs of the specified types and wattages to avoid damage to the vehicle’s electrical system.
* If the light bulb burns out quickly, check the vehicle’s electrical system for problems such as power surges or poor connections.
