Materials:

* Washing machine
* Electrical cable (usually 3-wire with ground)
* Electrical socket (grounded)
* Screwdriver with insulated handle
* Terminal block or vago clamps
* Electrical tape

Steps:

1. Turn off the power at the main power panel: Turn off the power to the circuit that will power the washing machine.

2. Prepare the electrical cable: Strip the end of the cable about 2.5 cm, separating the three wires (black, white and green or copper).

3. Remove the back panel of the washing machine: It is usually secured with several screws.

4. Identify the terminal block: The terminal block is located on the back of the washing machine. It will have three contacts: L (line, black wire), N (neutral, white wire) and GND (ground, green or copper wire).

5. Connect the black wire to the L terminal: Connect the stripped end of the black wire to the L terminal of the terminal block.

6. Connect the white wire to the N terminal: Connect the stripped end of the white wire to the N terminal of the terminal block.

7. Connect the green or copper wire to the GND pin: Connect the stripped end of the green or copper wire to the GND pin of the terminal block.

8. Tighten the terminal block screws: Use an insulated handle screwdriver to tighten the terminal block screws, connecting the wires securely.

9. Reinstall the back panel: Replace the screws to secure the back panel of the washing machine.

10. Install an electrical outlet (if not installed): Install a grounded electrical outlet according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

11. Connect the cable to the outlet: Insert the plug of the cable into the outlet.

12. Turn on the power at the main power panel: Turn on the power to the circuit that will power the washer.
