* New automatic transmission oil filter (article: 1442.R3)
* Automatic transmission pan gasket (article: 1440.46)

Tools:

* Set of keys
* Screwdriver
* Oil drain container
* Funnel
* Rags

The procedure for changing the oil in an automatic transmission Citro?n C4 coupe:

1. Raising the vehicle: Place the vehicle on a lift or use jacks to provide access to the underside of the vehicle.
2. Draining old oil:
* Locate the drain plug on the automatic transmission pan. Place a container to drain the oil under the plug.
* Unscrew the drain plug and drain the oil into a container.
* While the oil is draining, remove the oil filter from the automatic transmission pan.
3. Filter replacement:
* Install a new automatic transmission oil filter into the pan. Make sure it is tight.
4. Replacing the gasket:
* Remove the old automatic transmission pan gasket and clean the surface of the pan.
* Install a new automatic transmission pan gasket.
5. Tightening the drain plug:
* Install a new sealing washer on the drain plug.
* Screw the drain plug into the automatic transmission pan and tighten it with the correct tightening torque (25 Nm).
6. Adding new oil:
* Locate the filler plug on the automatic transmission housing.
* Using a funnel, pour new oil into the automatic transmission. The amount of oil that needs to be filled is indicated in the vehicle’s operating manual.
7. Checking the oil level:
*Add oil until the correct level is reached. Check the oil level using the automatic transmission dipstick. The level should be between the “Min” and “Max” marks on the dipstick.
8. Resetting the automatic transmission computer:
* Start the engine and let it idle for a few minutes.
* Shift the gear selector to all positions, holding each position for a few seconds.
* Turn off the engine and check the automatic transmission oil level again. Add oil if necessary.

Note:

* To change the oil in an automatic transmission, about 3-4 liters of oil are required.
* It is recommended to change the automatic transmission oil every 60,000 km or in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer’s recommendations.
*If you do not have experience changing automatic transmission oil, it is recommended that you contact a qualified mechanic.
