The Chrysler Voyager automatic transmission selector position sensor is located on the right side of the transmission.
Removal and installation procedure:
Removal:
1. Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Remove the automatic transmission control module (TCM).
3. Disconnect the wire block from the automatic transmission selector position sensor.
4. Remove the two bolts securing the sensor to the gearbox housing.
5. Remove the sensor.
Installation:
1. Install the new sensor in place and secure it with bolts.
2. Connect the wire block to the sensor.
3. Install TCM.
4. Connect the negative terminal of the battery.
5. Check that the sensor is working properly using a fault code scanner.
Torque Specifications:
* Automatic transmission selector position sensor bolts: 8-11 Nm

* When replacing an automatic transmission selector position sensor, it is recommended to reset the battery terminal and perform a throttle relearn procedure to ensure proper transmission operation.
* Do not over-tighten the sensor bolts as this may damage the internal components of the sensor.
*Use a torque wrench to properly tighten the bolts.
* Check the condition of the wiring and connectors associated with the sensor for damage or corrosion.
