Procedure for replacing the automatic transmission filter
1. Place the vehicle on a level surface and set the parking brake.
2. Determine the location of the automatic transmission pan and unscrew the drain plug.
3. Collect the draining liquid in a container with a volume of at least 5 liters.
4. Unscrew the bolts securing the automatic transmission pan.
5. Remove the automatic transmission pan and carefully remove the old filter.
6. Install the new automatic transmission filter in place.
7. Clean the pan and gasket, if necessary, replace the gasket with a new one.
8. Reinstall the automatic transmission pan and tighten the bolts.
9. Screw in the drain plug and fill in new ATF through the funnel.
10. Start the engine and let it idle for a few minutes. Check the ATF level on the dipstick and add if necessary.

*Use only manufacturer recommended ATF.
* Observe the bolt tightening torque specified in the vehicle owner’s manual.
* Regular replacement of the automatic transmission filter extends the life of the gearbox.
