Required tools and materials:

* Set of socket wrenches
* Mount
* New automatic transmission drive oil seal
* Sealant
* Rags
* Seal puller (optional)

Work order:

1. Preparation:

* Place the vehicle on a level surface and apply the parking brake.
* Open the hood and disconnect the negative battery terminal.
* Raise the car on a lift or jack and place it on supports.

2. Removing the oil seal:

* Locate the automatic transmission drive shaft that connects to the differential.
* Clean the area around the oil seal from dirt and dust.
* Insert a flathead screwdriver or pry bar into the edge of the old oil seal and carefully pry it off.
* Use pliers to remove the old oil seal.
* Clean the oil seal seat from the remnants of the old oil seal and sealant.

3. Installing a new oil seal:

* Apply a thin layer of sealant around the oil seal seat.
* Lightly lubricate the new oil seal with transmission fluid.
* Insert the new oil seal into the seat, securing it tightly with your hand.
*If you have a seal puller, use it to completely press the seal into place.

4. Assembly:

* Reinstall the drive shaft and tighten it with bolts.
* Connect the negative terminal of the battery.
* Lower the vehicle to the ground.

5. Check:

* Start the engine and check for transmission fluid leaks around the new seal.
* Check the fluid level in the automatic transmission and add it if necessary.
