* On the automatic transmission tray, on the left under the exhaust manifold of the exhaust system.

Function:

* Determines the temperature of the automatic transmission fluid.

Signs of a faulty automatic transmission temperature sensor:

Replacing the automatic transmission temperature sensor:

1. Remove the engine protection, if equipped.
2. Find the sensor on the automatic transmission pan.
3. Disconnect the sensor wire connector.
4. Unscrew the sensor using a 22 mm wrench.
5. Install the new sensor in reverse order.
6. Reinstall the engine protection.
