Location and description of the Chevrolet Cruze gearbox oil seal
The transmission seal is located at the end of the transmission input shaft and serves to prevent transmission fluid from leaking from the transmission.
Chevrolet Cruze with automatic transmission uses two types of transmission seals:
* Inner Drive Seal: Located on the inner end of the transmission input shaft, it seals the gap between the shaft and the transmission housing.
*Outer Drive Seal: Located on the outer end of the transmission input shaft, it seals the gap between the shaft and the transmission housing.
