Materials:

* Motor oil for automatic transmissions (Dexron VI) — about 6 liters
* Transmission oil filter
* Transmission pan gasket
* Sealant for gaskets

Tools:

* Set of keys and sockets
* Funnel
* Oil drain container with a capacity of at least 6 liters
* Torque wrench

Oil change procedure:

1. Prepare the car. Place the vehicle on a level surface and lock the parking brake. Allow the engine and transmission to cool.
2. Raise the car. Raise the car on a lift or using jacks. Secure your vehicle with stands.
3. Locate the transmission oil pan. It is located at the bottom of the gearbox.
4. Drain the old oil. Remove the oil pan drain plug using a wrench and drain the oil into a prepared container. Allow the old oil to drain completely.
5. Replace the oil filter. Remove the old oil filter from the transmission and replace it with a new one.
6. Clean the oil pan. Clean the oil pan of old oil and dirt.
7. Install a new oil pan gasket. Apply gasket sealant to the new gasket and install it to the oil pan.
8. Install the oil pan. Install the oil pan onto the transmission and tighten the bolts using a torque wrench to the specified torque.
9. Fill with new oil. Fill new automatic transmission oil through the filler hole using a funnel. The volume of oil to be filled is about 6 liters.
10. Check the oil level. Start the engine and let it idle. Check the oil level using the transmission dipstick. The oil level should be between the «MIN» and «MAX» marks on the dipstick.
11. Lower the vehicle. Slowly lower the vehicle to the ground.
12. Check for leaks. Check for oil leaks from the gearbox.

Note:

* Change the gearbox oil every 60,000-90,000 km or as recommended by the manufacturer.
* Use only manufacturer approved automatic transmission oil.
*Reuse the drain plug only if it is in good condition.
