Required tools:

*Clean rag or paper towels
* 10 mm wrench (on some models)

Procedure for checking the automatic transmission oil level:

1. Start the engine and warm it up to operating temperature. This is important because the oil must be warm to register the level correctly.
2. Shift the transmission into Park.
3. Open the hood and find the automatic transmission dipstick. It usually has a brightly colored handle with an orange or yellow marking.
4. Remove the dipstick and wipe it with a clean rag or paper towels.
5. Reinsert the dipstick and remove it again.
6. Check the oil level on the dipstick. There should be two marks: lower (MIN) and upper (MAX).
7. The oil level should be between the two marks. If it is too low, you will need to add oil. If it is too high, you will need to drain off the excess.
8. Add oil or drain as needed. Use special automatic transmission oil.
9. Check the oil level again and make sure it is at the correct level.
10. Insert the dipstick back into the transmission and close the hood.

Note:

* Do not overfill the automatic transmission with oil, as this may cause problems with gear shifting and other damage.
*If you notice a significant drop in the oil level in your automatic transmission, this may indicate a leak. It is recommended to contact a car service for inspection and repair.
