* New automatic transmission filter
* Automatic transmission pan gasket
* Automatic transmission oil change kit
* Rags
* Container for draining old oil

* Scanner for resetting the automatic transmission oil change counter (optional)
Procedure:
1. Preparing the car
* Place the vehicle on a lift or level surface.
* Turn off the engine and let it cool.
*Place the vehicle in park position (P).
2. Drain the old oil
* Determine the location of the automatic transmission pan and remove its bolts.
* Carefully remove the pan and drain the old oil into a container.
* Replace the gasket with a new one.
3. Removing and replacing the filter
* Remove the old automatic transmission filter from the pan.
* Install the new filter into the pan.
4. Installation of the pallet
* Clean the surfaces of the pan and the automatic transmission housing.
* Apply a thin layer of transmission sealant to the pan seating surface.
* Reinstall the pan and tighten the bolts with a torque wrench to the recommended torque.
5. Filling with new oil
* Connect the hose of the automatic transmission oil change kit to the fitting on the automatic transmission housing.
* Connect the other end of the hose to a container with new oil.
* Start the engine and change gears (P, R, N, D, 2, 1), holding each position for a few seconds.
* Fill in about 4-6 liters of new oil through the hose until the level in the sump begins to rise.
6. Checking the oil level
* Pull out the automatic transmission oil level dipstick and wipe it with a rag.
* Insert the dipstick back into the tube and pull it out again.
* The oil level should be between the HOT or COLD marks on the dipstick depending on the oil temperature.
7. Adjusting the oil level
*If the oil level is too low, repeat step 5.
* If the oil level is too high, drain the excess oil through the drain plug.
8. Resetting the automatic transmission oil change counter
* Connect the scanner to the vehicle’s diagnostic connector.
* Find in the menu the option to reset the automatic transmission oil change counter.
*Follow the instructions on the scanner screen.
9. Vehicle operation
* Check for oil leaks.
* Immediately check the automatic transmission oil level and add it if necessary.
* While driving, listen for any unusual noises or vibrations that may indicate problems with the automatic transmission.
