Materials:

* New automatic transmission oil (about 6 liters for complete draining and replacement)
* New oil filter for automatic transmission
* New automatic transmission pan gasket
* Brush or rag
* Funnel
* Ratchet wrench
* 17 mm hex key
* Lift or pit

Instructions:

1. Security:

* Make sure the vehicle is on a level surface and parked.
* Wear protective gloves and goggles.

2. Lifting the car:

* Raise the car using a lift or drive it into a pit.

3. Draining the oil:

* Locate the automatic transmission pan drain plug under the vehicle.
* Place a container to drain the oil.
* Unscrew the drain plug using a 17mm hex key.
* Allow the oil to drain into the container.

4. Removing the automatic transmission pan:

* Unscrew the automatic transmission pan bolts using a ratchet wrench.
* Carefully remove the automatic transmission pan and drain the remaining oil.

5. Replacing the oil filter:

* Remove the old oil filter from the automatic transmission pan.
* Install a new oil filter.

6. Installing the automatic transmission pan:

* Clean the sealing surface of the automatic transmission pan and gearbox housing.
* Apply a layer of automatic transmission sealant to the pan gasket.
* Install a new automatic transmission pan.
* Tighten the automatic transmission pan bolts to the recommended tightening torque.

7. Filling and pumping oil:

* Measure the amount of drained oil and add the same amount of new oil through the dipstick hole.
* Start the engine and shift the gear selector to each position for a few seconds.
* Check the oil level with the engine running and add oil if necessary.

8. Cleaning and assembly:

* Clean the drain plug of any metal shavings and reinstall it.
* Clean spilled oil from the engine and transmission pans.

9. Oil level:

* After the car has driven 50-100 km, check the oil level in the automatic transmission for final adjustment. The oil should be between the “HOT” and “COLD” marks on the dipstick.

Adviсe:

* It is recommended to change the automatic transmission oil every 60,000-80,000 km or more often depending on operating conditions.
* Use automatic transmission oil recommended by the vehicle manufacturer.
* If the oil is burnt or has metal shavings, further automatic transmission diagnostics may be required.
*If you do not have experience working with transmissions, it is recommended that you have your transmission oil changed by a qualified mechanic.
