OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR CAR ELECTRICIANS

1. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

1.1. This instruction has been developed on the basis of standard instructions on labor protection for electricians for the repair and maintenance of electrical equipment (Order of the Ministry of Labor of Russia dated November 30, 2015 No. 875n).
1.2. Persons at least 18 years of age who have passed a medical examination, introductory and initial workplace safety instruction and testing of knowledge of labor safety requirements, and who have received the first group in electrical safety are allowed to work as a car electrician.
1.3. A car electrician must comply with internal labor regulations, labor discipline, electrical safety rules and these labor protection instructions.
1.4. It is not allowed to perform work that is not related to the direct responsibilities of a car electrician.
1.5. Car electricians must be provided with personal protective equipment in accordance with current regulations.
1.6. While working, car electricians may be exposed to the following dangerous and harmful production factors:
*Electric shock.
* Mechanical injuries.
* Exposure to toxic substances.
* Increased or decreased temperature.
* Increased or decreased atmospheric pressure.
1.7. A car electrician must be able to provide first aid in case of electric shock, injuries, wounds, burns, poisoning, heat and sunstroke.
1.8. In the event of an accident at work, a car electrician is obliged to immediately report the incident to the supervisor and provide first aid to the victim.
1.9. The vehicle electrician is responsible for complying with the requirements of this manual.

2. SAFETY REQUIREMENTS BEFORE STARTING WORK

2.1. Before starting work, a car electrician must:
* Undergo targeted training on labor protection when performing upcoming work.
* Wear proper personal protective equipment.
* Prepare the workplace, put in order the tools and devices used, check the condition of electrical equipment, protective grounding, electrical circuits, communications.
* Receive work orders or orders from the manager and familiarize yourself with them.

3. SAFETY REQUIREMENTS DURING OPERATION

3.1. While working, a car electrician must:
* Perform only the work assigned to him.
* Apply safe work methods and techniques.
* Use proper tools, fixtures and electrical equipment.
* Observe electrical safety rules.
* Ensure safe organization of work in the workplace and keep it in proper condition.
* Do not allow persons unrelated to the work performed to enter the workplace.
* In case of malfunction of equipment or tools, immediately report it to your supervisor.
* Turn off electrical equipment during breaks in work and at the end of work.

4. SAFETY REQUIREMENTS IN EMERGENCIES

4.1. In the event of an emergency, a car electrician must:
* Stop work immediately.
* Ensure the safety of people in the danger zone.
* Report the incident to the supervisor and take measures to eliminate the danger.

5. SAFETY REQUIREMENTS AFTER WORK COMPLETION

5.1. At the end of the work, the car electrician must:
* Disconnect electrical equipment.
* Tidy up the workplace, tools and equipment.
* Remove personal protective equipment and put it in order.
* Submit orders or orders for completed work to the manager.
