Car electrician
Responsibilities:
* Diagnostics and troubleshooting of electrical systems of automobiles
* Installation, repair and maintenance of automotive electronics
* Replacement of batteries, starters, generators and other electrical components
* Repair of wiring and connections
* Testing and adjusting lights, signals, windshield wipers and other electrical systems
* Reading and interpreting electrical diagrams
* Consulting clients on maintenance and electrical equipment issues
Requirements:
* Knowledge of automotive electrical systems and components
* Experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical systems
* Understanding of electronics principles
* Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams
*Strong soldering and power tool skills
* Good customer service skills
* Valid driver’s license
Preferences:
* Certificate in Automotive Electronics
* Experience working in an automotive repair shop
