Responsibilities of an Auto Electrician:
* Diagnosis and troubleshooting of vehicle electrical systems
* Repair and replacement of starters, alternators, batteries, wiring and other electrical components
* Checking and adjusting lighting, signals, instruments and other electrical devices
* Installation and maintenance of additional electrical systems such as security systems, audio systems and navigation systems
* Working with electrical diagrams and maintenance manuals
*Service and repair of hybrid and electric vehicles
* Compliance with safety regulations when working with electrical systems
* Documenting repairs and testing systems to ensure proper operation
Requirements for an auto electrician:
* Secondary specialized education in electrical engineering or related field
* At least 2-3 years of experience as an auto electrician
* Knowledge of the design and operating principles of vehicle electrical systems
* Diagnostics and troubleshooting skills
* Ability to operate power tools and measuring equipment
* Understanding of electrical diagrams and maintenance documentation
*High level of attention to detail and accuracy

* Electrical safety certificate required
